Biomass Analysis

The AIMACAM is designed for laboratory use or in process applications for biomass analysis and control. The software is ideal for evaluating the effectiveness of waste water treatment with regards to the flocculant dosage in biomass separation. It can determine the percentage of the biomass in the affluent as well as inclusions of particulate and gas bubbles within the biomass. This vision system has proven useful in determining biomass in sewage sludge for waste water management and organic sludge and slurries used in the generation of green renewable energy sources. For clear or translucent fluids, the LED back-lighting illumination is used to clearly define the edges of biomass, particulate and conglomerates resulting in sharper images and higher image quality.
