Hermacrimp technology offers the capability to hermetically seal a wide variety of body materials and center conductors with different thermal expansion characteristics. This technology allows you to utilize a wide range of materials for center conductors, body housings or headers. Hermacrimp sealing combines proprietary technologies with advanced polymeric materials to provide a hermetic, environmentally sealed high energy electrical or signal feedthrough capable of operating in harsh environments. Competitive terminal seals use either glass joints, braze or epoxies which severely limit the choice of pin or body materials or significantly reduce hermetic sealing capabilities. Applications include sealing battery center conductor pins often made from copper or aluminum to a wide range of body or header materials. Hermacrimp electrical feedthrough seals have a proven performance record in lithium batteries used in Defense and Aerospace projects.
